Risks and responsabilities

My dad used to tell us that: “The one who does not do mistake is the one who doesn't do anything”.

The purpose of the RIIMEX matrix is then not to find “The” responsible, but to help organizations, no matter if they are private, or public, to improve their way to manage risks.

There are nonetheless, and there will always be something to improve, so it is very easy to say to ourself:

“ Why will we waste time to try to improve things, as soon as we know that, there will always be something... To improve?”

 
Why?
 
The first reason seems to be simple...
 
So, why?
 
Because there are consequences.
 

We are in the 21st century, claiming to have the more performant technologies and digital solutions, than any other century never had... So why not? Why won't we use a digital and IT solution, which cans help us avoid a negative end... No matter its level... Micro, macro, or global.

 
The next reason seems more restrictive...
 
Why?
 
When we decide to manage a public or private organization, we have responsibilities.
 
We are responsible of our employees, partners, stakeholders, customers,  citizens... Responsible of the system.
 
So it is normally up to us to make sure that, none of our activity does not create any dangerous situation. And that probably the heritage we all want to transmit to the next generation.
 
And please, don't forget that: As soon as you are trying to hide, it always means that something is wrong. So sooner, or later, you will have to face your responsabilities.
